The next European Mile webinar is set to feature exclusive insights on successful physical activity initiatives for children and youth from the Daily Mile Foundation and the Dutch organisation JOGG. Join us on Tuesday 11 May from 15:00-16:00 CEST for this free webinar hosted by the International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA).

During the webinar, we will hear from the founder of the Daily Mile, Elaine Wyllie, about how the Daily Mile was created and how it has grown into an international movement. We will also hear from the JOGG whose project manager Patty Scholten will introduce their work in the Netherlands.

Registration for the webinar is open here.

The Daily Mile Foundation coordinates the Daily Mile – a free and simple children’s health initiative that encourages kindergarten and primary school children to run or jog for 15 minutes every day. The successful initiative originates from the UK and is now expanding across Europe to help even more children get active every day.

JOGG (the Netherlands) aims to create a society in which all children and adolescents can live, learn, work and enjoy themselves in an environment which has fully embraced a healthy lifestyle. JOGG advocates a local approach in which not only parents and health professionals, but also shops, companies, schools and local authorities join hands to ensure that young people remain at a healthy weight.

This webinar is part of the European Mile project series, which is a free event celebrating the joy of moving again at your own pace – by running, walking or rolling a mile. Create your own event or donate your miles during 2021 to take part, and move together with people around Europe for the main celebration on 5 June 2021.
