ISCA, our members and partners to start new Erasmus+ projects in the coming year

Photo: ISCA and our team of cyclists are getting ready to ride again with the Bike for Europe event in 2018.

ISCA will start two new projects with grants from the Erasmus+ Sport programme in late 2017/early 2018. The cross-border cycling tour Bike for Europe was selected as a Not-for-Profit European Cycling Event and Grassroots Sport Diplomacy as a Collaborative Partnership supporting the Council Recommendation on HEPA and EU Physical Activity Guidelines.

Several ISCA members or partners were also awarded grants for Sport Events, Collaborative Partnerships and Small Collaborative Partnerships. Former ISCA volunteer Nenad Borkovic was also successful in the Small Collaborative Partnerships category.

The Collaborative Partnership won by Game and MOVE Malta was born out of ISCA’s MOVE Congress 2015 at GAME in 2015. MOVE Malta founder and director, Cynthia Debono said the grant was a testament to the networking opportunities at the MOVE Congress.

“I really would like to thank ISCA for the opportunity as I met [Game CEO] Simon Prahm at MC 2015. Thank you so much!”
