ABOUT The Finnish Workers’ Sport Federation TUL

"Our organization was founded already in 1919. Since that we have been fighting for equality in sports and in society in general. We focus on promoting low-threshold recreational exercise for children, young people, and adults.

We have more than 700 sport club members. In those over 700 clubs, there is more than 200 000 members.

We work together with our member clubs in order to make the joy of movement possible for everyone.

Our club services focus on supporting the clubs in their mission and moving people. We offer education and consultation for our clubs.

We speak out for our clubs. We facilitate the public discussion on society level on the topics that are important for us, such as and especially equality."

We fight for those who would not have a voice otherwise.

We help and support our member clubs, so they would have a chance to move people.

We diverse the sport sector in our society."
