ABOUT Okul Faaliyetleri Derneği

"OFD association was founded in Türkiye in September, 2023. The general purpose of the association is to organize art, culture and sports activities in Turkey, to facilitate the development of sports, arts and culture for young people, to spread sports culture for everyone, and to contribute to the improvement of the non-formal education and sports education system in sports schools in Türkiye.

OFD association works in coordination with the related institutions/NGO and other organizations with Sports Federations and the Schools in Türkiye. It carries out various activities both in schools and with sports federations. In this way, while ensuring the dissemination of its own activities, it also supports the activities of other institutions.

OFD works as a long-term social and local supporter of many activities of both the local and national many other NGOs and sports clubs. OFD members have already been working in different titles at the Ministry of Youth and Sports for many years. Such as Youth and Sports specialist, coach, training coordinator. In these titles, they take part in both legislation studies and field studies. OFD management board has determined the priority and order of action such as education, sports, social and culture, keeping education above all else, followed by sports values and the beauty of sports, and ranking social inclusion in third place. In the framework of this, OFD organizes workshops, seminars, roundtable meetings and develops training curricula and training programs with new priorities."

To become an association that implements projects related to sports, education and artistic/cultural activities at national and international levels, in order to provide quality education in both sports and culture to children and young people, whom we consider to be the guarantee of our future in the rapidly developing world.

Our mission is to promote an active lifestyle among children and youngs of any age (especially school age) in various groups of society and to help and support improve their mental and pysical health through sports, education and artical/cultural events.
