"International For Beach Tennis Assoc. is the natural successor to the Associazione Diletantistica IFBT, founded and registered in Italy in 1995. In February 2020, was refounded with a new Statutes, new Executive Committee, registered and approved by the Justice Departament of the Government of Catalonia (Spain) and The Sports Council of Catalonia (Sapin).

The headquarters are in Barcelona (Spain). IFBT is a non profit organization with 27 Associated Members in Europe, America, Africa and Asia."
