Healthy Club

Healthy Club is a project aiming to transfer the Slovenian best practice "Healthy Club" model and Quality Mark to Bulgaria and Malta in order to provide local communities in Slovenia, Bulgaria and Malta with quality and accessible sport and physical activity programmes.

The overall scope of the project is to encourage participation in sport and physical activity, especially by supporting the implementation of the EU Physical Activity Guidelines.

Healthy Club

The primary purpose of the Healthy Club Quality Mark is to promote organised, regular, professionally managed, properly structured recreational sport activities that take place in sport organisations throughout country.

Quality Mark : The (strong )Healthy Club Quality Mark (srong) can be obtained by sport organisations and organisations that offer physical activity program (like fitness centres)

Criteria : The purpose of the quality criteria is to orient the sport organisations when designing new offers as well as to further develop and maintain the quality of the existing exercise programs.

Healthy Club & MOVE Transfer

MOVE Transfers aim to transfer and scale up good examples of grassroots sport initiatives from organisation to organisation, from city to city, and from country to country. The goal of MOVE Transfer – Healthy Club is to exchange competences, know-how, skills and experiences among the project partners by transferring the Slovenian Best Practice "Healthy Club" model of Quality Mark to Italy and Romania.

Healthy Club & MOVE Transfer & ISCA

MOVE Transfer is an international program, developed by the International Sport and Culture Association, to support the sharing and the upscaling of good practices, engaging new partners, new groups or new organisations on a national or international level. ISCA is a global platform open to organisations working within the field of sport for all, recreational sports and physical activity.
