ABOUT Slovak sport for all association

"The history of the Association of Sports for All of the Slovak Republic began to be written 30 years ago.

The Sports Association for All of the Slovak Republic was founded on February 23, 1990 under the name Association of Physical Education and Tourist Activities of the Slovak Republic and continued the activity in sports for all within the Slovak organization ČSZTV.

The founding members included:

  • Club of Slovak tourists /KST/
  • Slovak Association of Recreational Physical Education and Sports /SZ RTVŠ/
  • Slovak All-round Association /SZVV/"

The Vision of Slovak sport for all association

The Slovakia in Motion program expresses the program intentions and goals of the Association of Sport for All of the Slovak Republic aimed at the development of sport for all and exercise activities in the Slovak Republic for the calendar year.

The Mission of Slovak sport for all association

"Long-term goals that the program includes:

  • promote the human right to movement,
  • to systematically and purposefully promote development trends in the Slovak environment, to combine sports for all and physical activities with active health,
  • increase the awareness of Slovaks about the benefits of sports and physical activities,
  • create conditions so that as many citizens as possible gain motivation for regular activity and gradually engage in physical activity: adults at least 30 minutes a day and children and youth an hour a day, with increased activity during weekends and days off,
  • to improve opportunities to actively participate in sports for all and physical activities through traditional, but also new and innovative campaigns and events,
  • get involved in international campaigns and projects of sport for all and become part of the process that takes place in the world and especially in Europe,
  • to create space for broad cooperation of sports partners for all,
  • organize national conferences of sport for all, seminars and other educational events,
  • support volunteers."
